Sad (Tragic?) News from Arlington Young Democrats

Now this is truly sad, even tragic, news! (snark alert)

With much regret, the All or Nothing Flip Cup Tournament, which was to be held on Saturday, August 15, 2009, has been canceled. As many people are vacationing this month, we were unable to generate enough interest in the event. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Our next event will be a trivia night in late September. All event details will be published in the weekly AYD email, so I encourage you to stay tuned. If you have any questions about the flip cup tournament, our upcoming fundraisers, or are interested in joining the Finance Committee, please contact me at finance@arlingtonyoungdems.org.

Our next AYD meeting is next Wednesday, Aug 19, 2009. I hope to see you there.

By the way, for those of you who aren't familiar with what a "flip cup" is, Wikipedia explains: "Flip cup (also known as Cups) is a team-based drinking game that was developed on college and university campuses.[1] It is similar to the drinking game boat race, as it is a drinking relay race with an equal number of players on each side of a table."
