isn't this just delightful? I mean, what better than bringing your gun and a "Don't Tread on Me" sign to a Townhall meeting with the President of the United States? As the
Daily Kos diarist who posted this story writes, "The wingnutters are literally armed and dangerous." Also, "It is because of the lies foisted by Palin, Beck, and Limbaugh upon those incapable of separating truth from fiction." This is completely unacceptable, whether we're talking about President Reagan, President Bush or President Obama. I just hope the Secret Service is on this.
P.S. The quote, "It's time to water the tree of liberty," references a statement by Thomas Jefferson that the tree of liberty occasionally needs to be watered by the blood of patriots and tyrants. Sure sounds like an actionable threat to me in this context.
