Yesterday afternoon, I received a hand-written note from Creigh Deeds, thanking me for attending his blogger dinner (at Piola in Arlington) a couple weeks ago. As I read it, I kept thinking, I may not agree with him on a number of issues, but this guy is truly a class act and a great guy. I also kept thinking, "wait a minute, wasn't I the one who ate delicious Piola pizza on HIS dime? Shouldn't I be thanking HIM?" With that, I just wanted to thank Creigh Deeds for an excellent dinner and good conversation a couple weeks ago. And if any other candidates care to hold more blogger dinners at Piola, that's cool with me. Yeah, I have a weak spot for excellent pizza. Ha. :)
