Ken Cuccinelli: States are "Sovereign"

"I believe in reining in government power in all its forms...particularly as our federal government reaches and reaches and reaches for more and more power at the expense of the states, which need to remind the federal government that we are sovereign."
So, I used "The Google" on the issue of state sovereignty, and it turns out that there's a growing right-wing movement in various states to assert sovereignty vis-a-vis the federal government. One of the first articles I found was by none other than Jerome Corsi, a "conspiracy theorist" (e.g., "plans for a North American Government") and author of both "Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry" and "The Obama Nation: Leftist Politics and the Cult of Personality." Craaaazy.
Meanwhile, in Oklahoma, a sovereignty resolution is being sponsored by state Senator Randy Brogden (Far-Right-Wing "R"), who also is pushing for an "Oklahoma version" of the Ten Commandments. Craaaazier.
So, I wonder if Ken Cuccinelli realizes some of the other people out there pushing for state "sovereignty" these days...
P.S. Let's not forget the recent comments by the governor of Texas about secession - comments that former Majority Leader Tom DeLay defended. Is talk of secession and "sovereignty" the hot new thing in the Republican Party these days or what?
