to Hold News Briefing on Unemployment Insurance

Howell and House Republican Majority Caucus Chairman Samuel A. “Sam” Nixon, Jr., will join business owners and employers from around the Commonwealth to highlight how recent actions by General Assembly Republicans have helped workers as well as aided in saving and creating jobs.

WHO: William J. Howell (R-Stafford)
Speaker of the House

WHEN: Thursday April 23, 2009
11:00 a.m.

WHERE: House Briefing Room (1st Floor)
General Assembly Building
Capitol Square
Richmond, VA
Let me guess: by protecting business from the diabolical evils of taking $125 million in federal money that was being given back to unemployed Virginians who desperately needed it, we were helping to save the world from communism, socialism, terrorism, radical Islamism, and...fluoridated water. Long live trickle-down economics! Viva the Chamber of Commerce! All hail Big Business! Rah!

P.S. In all seriousness, I'd love to hear Howell explain why his party hates unemployed Virginians so much.
