Jim Webb right now to let them know its time to light a fire under Virginia's clean energy economy by passing the American Clean Energy and Security Act!Job opportunities would skyrocket if clean-energy legislation were to create a focused effort to build up sustainable business sectors such as pollution mitigation, conservation, energy efficiency, retrofitting homes, and wind, biomass, and solar power.
The National Wildlife Federation reported that a 30 percent increase in solar power would create nearly 700 new jobs and bring $526 million in investment to the state.
