Voter Registration Deadline Today

Monday, October 5, 2009

From Organizing for America:
Monday, October 5th, is the final day for you and other Virginians to register to vote in next month's elections.

Are you registered? How about your friends and family in Virginia?

The process of registering is quick and easy, but it's the most important thing you can do to make sure Creigh Deeds can keep moving Virginia forward after this November's elections.

As long as you're a U.S. citizen and a Virginia resident (which includes being a VA college student), and will be at least 18 by Election Day, you can likely register.

Click here to download the registration form (pdf). You can fill it out and mail it in, or turn it in at your local voter registration office.

You can also pick up a form to fill out at any of the following locations: local voter registration offices, public libraries, armed forces recruitment offices, department of motor vehicles offices, or the State Board of Elections office.

And you can mail or turn in a form completed by a friend or family member who can't do so on their own.

To be accepted, the form needs to be either postmarked or delivered in person by Monday.

So please get started now, or, if you're already registered, forward this email to any other family and friends in Virginia who need to know this information...
