Sign the Petition: No "Trigger," Just Give Us the Public Option Straight Up!

Monday, October 26, 2009

From FDL Action:
To the 68 members of Congress signed a letter pledging to vote against any bill without a robust public option:

Your pledge for a robust public option means no "triggers," which would kill any chance of a public option taking off.

But triggers are rearing their ugly heads again. We are reminding you that triggers aren't acceptable. They're a white flag to the insurance industry to ensure a public option won't ever exist.

Please keep your pledge: no triggers for a public option.
If you agree, please sign the petition. Thanks.
