John Bell is a fair-minded Democrat and a retired Air Force Finance Officer running in Virginia 's 13th District against incumbent Delegate Bob Marshall who takes pride in calling himself a "right wing extremist" and Virginia 's "chief homophobe". Marshall has sponsored over 70 bills to take away the woman's right to choose and was the author of the Marshall-Newman amendment that enshrined discrimination into Virginia 's Constitution.

A suggested "Friend" fee of $51 is symbolic of the 51 Democrats needed in the Virginia House of Delegates to take the majority. We only need six more democrats to be elected and John Bell can be the 51st and seal the deal.
