
UPDATE: Yes, the Republicans had plenty of blame to apportion earlier this year. For instance, here's Eric Cantor from March 4: "The stock market reflects real money, it reflects real loss...“I shudder to think of the massive losses Americans are experiencing in their portfolios right now." And here is John Boehner, also from March 4: "'Certainly the stock market hasn't acted very well' since Obama's inauguration." So, if Cantor was blaming Obama and "shuddering" back in March, is he giving Obama credit and celebrating now? And is Boehner going to say, "certainly the stock market HAS acted very well since Obama's inauguration?" [cue sound of crickets chirping]
