Thank you. Because of your help, our campaign has taken a major step towards winning the Attorney General’s office for the people of Virginia. During the month of March, our campaign raised over $270,000, and we now have well over $900,000 on hand. Just to give you some context, what that means is that we are well over a quarter million dollars ahead of the cash on hand posted by former Attorney General Bob McDonnell just four years ago. Having this money in the bank means that we will have the resources to get our message out in the fall.
This past month, I have been traveling throughout the Commonwealth talking about my vision for making Virginia a safer place for all our families to call home. Yesterday was a particularly important day, as we filed over 14,000 signatures in order to qualify for the ballot.
We still have a lot of hard work to do together over the coming months. Right now, though, I want to leave you with one message: Thank you. Your help has made our success to date possible.
