Republicans "Too Busy" to Explain Rejecting $125 Million for Unemployed Virginians

Friday, April 10, 2009

My favorite excuses for GOP "no responses":

*Del. Salvatore Iaquinto: "too busy with meetings" (not with unemployed constituents, I bet)
*Del. Bob Tata: "Surgery" (implanting a heart, perhaps?)
*Del. Bob Purkey: "No response" (well, at least he didn't make up a lame-ass excuse)
*Del. John Cosgrove: "Getting taxes done" (ironic or just bizarre?)
*Del. Glenn Oder: "No response" (also, kudos for no lame-ass excuses)

So, they weren't too busy to reject $125 million for struggling, unemployed Virginians; they're just too busy to talk about their outrageous votes? Niiiiiice.
