What? Obama's job approval numbers today (52%-41%; +11 percentage points)
according to Gallup are
exactly the same as they were on July 27-29 (52%-41%; +11 percentage points)? Even with all the bad stuff that's happened since then, first and foremost a terrible economy inherited from the Bush/Cheney
debacle administration? Of course, what else would you expect; as Tom Tancredo condescendingly explained at the Tea Party "Convention" (in quotes because, of course, it wasn't a real convention in any way, shape or form), Obama supporters are
"[p]eople who could not spell the word vote or say it in English." You see, we Obama supporters are all illiterate morons, which explains both our votes for him and also his continued high (+11 percentage points is fantastic considering the economic situation) job approval ratings. It's really too bad we're not all as smart as Tom Tancredo, Sarah Palin, and the people they like to "pal around with." Heh.
UPDATE: Uh oh, Republican heads are going to explode as
Gallup now has Obama up to 53%-40% (+13 point) in job approval. FYI, that's the same as it was August 9-11, 2009.
