The Washington Post reports, "The Republican Party has selected new Virginia governor Robert F. McDonnell to deliver the response to President Obama's State of the Union address later this month." My guess is that McDonnell will do better than Tim Kaine did when he delivered the SOTU response (Kaine didn't do well by all accounts, so that's not saying much) but definitely not as well as Jim Webb (who did fantastic by pretty much all accounts). We'll see.
