Eric Cantor: Mindless, Irresponsible Gasbag

Watch as Eric Cantor all but declares war on Iran. Does Cantor seriously believe that if President Obama starts ranting and raving (as Cantor does here) about what's going on in Iran, it's going to actually help matters? As opposed to, let's say, completely backfiring by giving the hardliners there an easy excuse (the "Great Satan" supports the demonstrators!) to crack down hard? Duh...

Also watch as Cantor sanctimoniously (and without the slightest self awareness of irony given his party's consistent lack of support for human rights around the world) that "it is America's moral responsibility to speak out on behalf of the protection of human rights wherever they are violated." Finally, does Eric Cantor think that he's more of a foreign policy expert than Sen. Richard Lugar (R-IN), the senior Republican on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, who says that "it would be unwise for the United States to get any more involved than it is" in Iran? As I wrote in the headline, Eric Cantor is nothing but a mindless gasbag, whether the issue is energy, health care, the economy or Iran. What a perfect "leader" for today's know-nothing/just say "no" Republican Party.
