...2 inches of snow is forecast for Staunton (site of the State Central Committee meeting), up to 4 inches for NoVa, persons coming from the east on I-64 have to go over Afton Mountain, dangerous in the best of conditions and the DPVA won't reschedule tomorrow's meeting. Perhaps they are just as happy with diminished attendance, perhaps even so few that there won't be a quorum so no business can be conducted. It is one thing to ask people to go out in threatening or inclement weather for their jobs; it is another to ask volunteers to do that. Heaven help the Party if anyone is in a weather related mishap tomorrow. Very apparently their goal is not the largest attendance so we can get about the business of rebuilding this Party. Yet another symptom of what's wrong and how disconnected they are from the real Party people.Wonderful, huh?
