McDonnell genuinely seems to be taking a bipartisan tone, so I give his folks the benefit of the doubt and assume it's merely a logistical oversight that I'm on the list but nobody has contacted me about it. But it does make one wonder who else is listed unbeknownst to them. If they want to give Democrats a genuine (if overwhelmingly outnumbered) seat at the table, then I'm open to being involved. However, if my name is merely listed as bipartisan window dressing, then I'm not interested.Yeah, something tells me it's "bipartisan window dressing." I mean, it might not be, but I don't trust "Pat Robertson's Manchurian Candidate" as far as I can throw him. Man, this could be a really long four years...

An hour ago, David Englin tweeted, "wonders how many others on this list learned about it first from the Washington Post, like I did?" Englin was referring to this article on the Virginia Politics blog, which lists Englin on Bob McDonnell's "Natural Resources" committee. I was surprised as well and contacted Del.
