Video: "Sideshow Bob" Says There's No Anti-Gay Discrimination
Wednesday, March 10, 2010
Check out this video of yesterday's debate (starting around 4:45) on the nondiscrimination bill Del. Ken Plum brought to the House floor. Among other things, Del. "Sideshow" Bob Marshall claims that there's no anti-gay discrimination ("these folks have more jobs than the rest of us, more discretionary money"), asserts that "the term sexual attraction or orientation" is far beyond same-sex inclinations or appetites," and adds that there "are at least 29" types of sexual orientation. Del. David Englin compares anti-gay discrimination today to discrimination in U.S. history, when there were signs that said "Jews need not apply, Italians not welcome" and "No Irish allowed."
