Election Day Weather Forecast

Courtesy of the National Weather Service, this is the first forecast I've seen for election day. Overall, it looks like it will be warm and cloudy, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms pretty much across Virginia. Basically, not there shouldn't be much of a weather-related reason to stay home, barring a dramatic change for the worse.

Arlington: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 83. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Virginia Beach: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 82. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Roanoke: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 81. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Abingdon: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 83.

Richmond: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 86. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Winchester: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 78. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Staunton: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 81. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
