Change We Can Believe In

Barack Obama continues to exceed expectations in his four months on the job, including this important compromise agreement on fuel economy standards and greenhouse gas emission reductions. What's truly impressive about this deal is that it pleased almost all environmentalists while, apparently, also winning agreement from the car companies. To get an agreement like that takes a great deal of skill, and bodes extremely well for tackling other tough issues like health care reform and addressing entitlements. As Barack Obama promised during the campaign, this is truly "change we can believe in!"
