The Wagner campaign released the following statement earlier today, in response to the McDonnell-Bolling health care press conference:
When it comes to health care, Virginians once again have one question for Bill Bolling: Where were you, Bill? Health care is yet another issue Bill Bolling is talking about on which he had a chance to lead over the last four years-and failed miserably. As Lt. Governor, Bill Bolling sat on two critical boards and commissions that dealt with health care and wellness-Governor Kaine's Health Care Reform Commission, and the Virginia Disabilities Commission. Not surprisingly, given Bolling's record as a No-Show Lt. Governor, he didn't attend a single meeting. It's time for Bill Bolling to explain why he decided not to show up for his job for the last four years.
