Virginia Beach, VA – Virginia Professional Fire Fighters (VPFF) President Mike Mohler announced the organization’s endorsement of Creigh Deeds to be the next Governor of Virginia today.
“Creigh Deeds knows we need to move Virginia forward, and he’s got the right plan to do it,” said Mohler.
“Creigh’s life-long dedication to public service is borne out in the numerous pieces of legislation he’s worked to help pass on behalf of Virginia’s professional fire fighters, and we know that he will continue this important work as the next Governor of Virginia,” he said.
“Also of critical importance to Virginia’s professional fire fighters is Creigh’s transportation plan. By taking concrete steps to ease congestion on over-crowded roadways, Creigh’s plan will ensure that fire fighters are able to get to emergency situations as quickly as possible. Saved time equals saved lives,” Mohler said.
The VPFF, headquartered in Richmond, is the leading advocate in Virginia for the safety and training of fire fighters and paramedics. The VPFF represents approximately 6,500 professional fire fighters and paramedics protecting communities throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Great news from the Virginia Professional Fire Fighters. A stark contrast the "extremist" NRA's endorsement of Bob McDonnell.
