Shooting at Clarendon Apple Store

Friday, July 3, 2009

Needless to say, this is not good (nor something we see very frequently in Arlington):
An unidentified man fired at least one shot at the Apple Store Clarendon in Arlington, Virginia shortly after the store opened Friday morning, wounding at least one...
For more, see DCist and the Washington Post.
An Arlington police dispatcher said the victim suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder. Helicopter and K-9 units are conducting a sweep of the area in search of the suspect.

The suspect is described as a black male of medium build, between the ages of 35 and 45, with facial hair. He was last seen fleeing on foot, wearing a dark baseball cap, a light colored short sleeve shirt and light colored pants.
P.S. I live in Clarendon and bought my wife an IPod at that store, so this hits a bit too close to home...

UPDATE: Here's some video from outside the Apple Store, about 2 pm on Friday.
