Bearing Drift and NLS report that Del. Chris Saxman (R-20), considered by many to be a "rising star" in the Republican Party of Virginia, will announce this morning that he will not seek reelection. According to both Bearing Drift and NLS, Saxman will pursue "other projects" and says that "all is well." Saxman's Democratic challenger is Erik Curren, who says he "wants to bring responsive representation to the House of Delegates for families and businesses in the Shenandoah Valley."
