Funniest Candidate Ad Ever? She's Baaaaack!

Monday, July 6, 2009

It goes without saying that I strongly support my friend and superb Democrat Scott Surovell in the 44th House of Delegates district. Scott is smart as hell, progressive, a great guy, and will be one of the best delegates in Richmond when after he's elected in November.

Having said all that, sometimes you just need a good laugh. And when that time comes, what could better than to watch an old Gail "For Rail" Parker ad? In 2006, Parker ran for U.S. Senate against Jim Webb and George Allen. This year, Parker is running for House of Delegates in the 44th district, where she promises to build rail, rail, and more rail. Don't have rail at your house? Vote for Gail, she'll build light rail there! Ha.

P.S. Actually, come to think of it, there's one candidate ad that might be funnier than Gail "For Rail"'s. :)
