Mike Signer Speaks Out on Disenfranchisement of Ex-Felons

What's extraordinary to me is that this legacy of Jim Crow is still on the books in Virginia. It's especially bad when you consider that its original sponsor explicitly stated in 1901 that its aim was to "achieve the complete supremacy of the white race in government." So why, when even Florida's Republican governor, Charlie Crist, can deep-six this disgrace in his state, have we not done so here in Virginia? Anyway, THANK YOU to Mike Signer for addressing an issue which too many politicians are afraid to touch with a ten-foot poll. With videos like this one, I'm liking Mike more and more every day that goes by!
