Looking at this from a bit broader perspective, it seems to me that with the General Assembly session ended and just 10 months to go in his governorship, Tim Kaine is now starting to shift his attention and energy from the job of governing Virginia to the job of electing Democrats, both in Virginia and nationally. Personally, I think Tim Kaine is extremely well suited to that job, as he's always been a great fundraiser and a fierce fighter for Democrats. And he's off to a great start with his framing of Rush Limbaugh as personifying the Republican Party. I particularly loved how he called Michael Steele "courageous" for having stood up to Rush. Verrrry clever, especially when Steele quickly backed down under fire from the dittoheads. What was that about "courageous" again? :)
