I just received the following in Frank Wolf's "E-Newsletter."Job Fair Tomorrow in LoudounThat's right, this is the same Frank Wolf who voted in lockstep with his party AGAINST the stimulus plan which - among other things - would have provided extended unemployment benefits to many Virginians who are going through tough times and could use a helping hand. And this is the same Frank Wolf who belongs to a Virginia Republican Party which turned down the $125 million in federal stimulus money which was approved by a Democratic-controlled Congress and signed into law by President Obama.
In response to the downturn in the economy and the job losses many people are experiencing, I am sponsoring a job fair tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Loudoun County School Board office just off the Dulles Greenway in Ashburn. More than 70 federal agencies and private sector companies will be participating, including the FBI, CIA, Orbital Sciences Corporation, Middleburg Bank, and the Fairfax and Loudoun county public school systems.
