Full Moon Over the Blue Ridge

Wednesday, March 11, 2009

Democratic LG candidate Jon Bowerbank waxes poetic at Twitter:

"Everyone should be able to see a full moon over the Shenandoah Valley and Blue Ridge Mtns on a clear spring night at least once. Beautiful!"

Sounds awesome. Unfortunately, here in Northern Virginia, there's so much light (and air) pollution that you're lucky if you can see the moon clearly, let alone planets or shooting stars...sigh.
