So...Terry McAuliffe hasn't been helpful to Virginia Democrats over the years? He's a "carpetbagger?" Well then, how come back in July 2007, Terry McAuliffe was busy raising money for the Virginia House Democratic Caucus, led by...uh, Brian Moran? And how come Brian Moran's chief of staff, Jesse Ferguson, sent out an email at the time touting the event:
We thought you might be interested in the attached event for the House Democratic Caucus hosted by Chairman Brian Moran with special guest Terry McAuliffe, former Chairman of the DNC.Hmmmm...I guess back then it was okey-dokey to be both a "fundraiser" AND a "fighter." Fascinating.
