Mike Henry Joins ONE Campaign

Tuesday, January 19, 2010

Congratulations to Mike Henry on his new gig.
Campaign vet Mike Henry is the new senior director of U.S. field operations at One, heading the global advocacy organization’s U.S. grass-roots efforts.

[...]

“Mike brings a wealth of national campaign experience and political savvy to One,” said its executive director, Sheila Nix. “We are thrilled to have him lead One’s grass-roots efforts across the country to help us mobilize Americans behind efforts that are saving lives and helping the world’s poor fight extreme poverty.”

Henry has almost two decades of campaign experience, including serving as deputy campaign manager for Hillary Clinton’s unsuccessful 2008 bid for the Democratic presidential nomination. He also managed then-Virginia Gov. Mark Warner’s 2008 Senate campaign and Terry McAuliffe’s unsuccessful Democratic primary race for Virginia governor last year.
I'm sure Mike will do a great job at ONE.
