Chances are you're reading this post on a computer that cost more than the average Haitian makes in an entire year ($450). And that was before the earthquake struck. What will the average income be for 2010?

Every American has an obligation to donate what they can to Haitian relief efforts. Even a small amount helps, but a lot of us can dig deeper. So here's an idea. Go to ClintonBushHaitiFund.org and donate whatever you paid out of your pocket for dinner last night. If you made dinner at home or got KFC with the kids, $20 is great. If you hit a nice local restaurant, try to give $50. And if you dined at Morton's, think about whether you can spare $250.
