Joe Lieberman Vows to Block Vote on Public Option

"If the public option plan is in there, as a matter of conscience, I will not allow this bill to come to a final vote because I believe debt can break America and send us into a recession..." - Joe Lieberman

It's one thing for Lieberman to vote "no." It's another to support a Republican fillibuster that prevents health care reform from even coming to a vote, all because Joe Lieberman doesn't like one aspect of it. That's where Lieberman crosses the line from "guy I respectfully disagree with" to "pathetic, self-aggrandizing jackass."
