UPDATE: NLS reports that "McDonnell supporters blocked one proxy from voting who was for Jeff, while allowing 9 proxy votes who were in favor of ousting Jeff." NLS adds, "This is Bob McDonnell's Republican Party!?!? APPEAL THIS TO THE CONVENTION JEFF!!!!"

UPDATE #3: Bob Lewis (AP) reports, "Virginia Republican Party Chairman Jeff Frederick was ousted Saturday after a troubled 10-month tenure capped by devastating losses in last year's elections."
UPDATE #4: Jeff Frederick will almost certainly run for RPV chair at the convention. The question is, will Republicans coalesce around 1 alternative to Frederick or will there be a bunch of candidates, allowing Frederick to take his job back? Let's hope for the latter!
UPDATE #5: Frederick, 4:28 pm - "one disqualified proxy vote made the difference." "I'm sad for our party and for our grassroots." Leaves when reporters start asking him questions, including "will you run again?"
