Hot off the presses, courtesy of the Washington Post, the House just passed the economic "stimulus" bill. Now, it's on to the Senate and hopefully to President Obama's desk for signature by President's Day...UPDATE: According to the AP, the bill passed 246-183 with no Republican "yea"s. That's right, not even those famed Republican "moderates" like Frank Wolf voted to save our economy from complete meltdown. Hmmmmm.....
UDPATE #2: The roll call vote is here. The 7 "Democrats" voting no were Heath Shuler (NC), Bobby "Not So?" Bright (AL), Peter DeFazio (OR), Parker Griffith (AL), Walt Minnick (ID), Collin Peterson (MN) and Gene Taylor (MS).
