December 7, 1941: "A date which will live in infamy"

Pearl Harbor was attacked 68 years ago today. The next day, President Roosevelt spoke to Congress and the nation. According to Wikipedia, "Within an hour of the speech, Congress passed a formal declaration of war against Japan and officially brought the U.S. into World War II." The rest, as they say, is history.
