Great question by Climate Progress, in reference to Sarah Palin's "devoid of knowledge," "laughable," "unfact-checked" piece of...uh, drivel in this morning's
fishwrap "newspaper" (using the term very loosely). So why did Post management allow this piece of trash to be published? As far as I can determine, it's because the answer to Climate Progress' question is very simple: "sadly, no."
UPDATE: My environmentalist friend Jason Rylander points out on Facebook that
"Only Sarah Palin could pen an op-ed for the WashPost on cap and trade and not mention the words pollution, emissions, carbon or global warming -- which is, of course, the entire POINT of cap and trade." And only the Washington Post could print it.
